Gillman & Abbey Funeral Service is an overseas branch of Gillman Funeral Service, Tooting, South London.

The Company offers the only Funeral Home in Accra, the capital city of Ghana, West Africa. The firm conducts funerals to any part of Ghana and most other countries in West Africa. The entire premises have been built to offer the very highest standard of facilities to a world class standard. The staff have been trained personally by Mr Roger Gillman, one of London's most experienced Funeral Directors.

The extensive premises include: casket showroom, coffin factory, five large chapels of rest, refrigeration and modern embalming facilities. the building also houses a funeral service training school.

Funerals are conducted by Mr Emmanuel Abbey, who trained at the company's premises in London. Emmanuel conducts funerals wearing top-hat and tails in true British style and is much admired when walking funerals through the busy streets of Accra.

The excellent Mercedes funeral fleet, which has to be left hand drive, were built to order by a coach building company in Holland and form the smartest fleet in West Africa.
